Data Analyst - operations reporting (Orlando, FL)

Harborlight Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Orlando serving students and families. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
