Data Analyst - operations reporting (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Thistle Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
