Data Analyst - operations reporting (Omaha, NE)

Summit Ember Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in waiting lists and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
