Data Analyst - operations reporting (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Clear Facilities is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in supply orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
