Data Analyst - operations reporting (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove Loom Construction Group is a Oakland contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on materials orders.
