Data Analyst - operations reporting (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove River Community Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in client intake and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on grant reporting. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
