Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Glen Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on branch operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
