Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak West Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on public records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
