Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Logistics runs classrooms and tutoring across the New Orleans area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 353 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on family communication. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
