Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove Wren Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
