Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Quill Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis.
