Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Drift Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
