Data Analyst - operations reporting (Nashville, TN)

Ironwood River Staffing Associates connects candidates and employers across the Nashville region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on retention. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
