Data Analyst - operations reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Minneapolis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
