Data Analyst - operations reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
