Data Analyst - operations reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vale Construction and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis.
