Data Analyst - operations reporting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Lumen Union Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in court deadlines and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on client files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
