Data Analyst - operations reporting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Lakeside Telecom Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We invest in training. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
