Data Analyst - operations reporting (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 745 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
