Data Analyst - operations reporting (Louisville, KY)

Bright Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Louisville area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
