Data Analyst - operations reporting (Louisville, KY)

Foxglove Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Louisville working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
