Data Analyst - operations reporting (Little Rock, AR)

Fernwood Beacon Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on waiting lists. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
