Data Analyst - operations reporting (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Beacon Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Knoxville, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
