Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Indianapolis, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on collection routes. • Python or R for analysis.
