Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Rowan Foods Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on production batches. • Python or R for analysis.
