Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Keystone Foods is a Indianapolis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on sanitation schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
