Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
