Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind River Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
