Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Lumen Beacon Auto Group is a Indianapolis company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
