Data Analyst - operations reporting (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Ivory Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Houston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 158 people based in Houston. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
