Data Analyst - operations reporting (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 216 people based in Houston. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
