Data Analyst - operations reporting (Houston, TX)

Lumen Pine Community Partners is a Houston charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
