Data Analyst - operations reporting (Houston, TX)

Nova Quill Foods produces packaged foods at its Houston plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 766 people based in Houston. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
