Data Analyst - operations reporting (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Lakeside Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Honolulu working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
