Data Analyst - operations reporting (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Hartford, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in tuition and subsidies and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on classroom supplies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
