Data Analyst - operations reporting (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Cobalt Construction is a Hartford contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 442 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
