Data Analyst - operations reporting (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Harbor Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in packing house output and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on seasonal crews. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
