Data Analyst - operations reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Timber Property Management Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on lease renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
