Data Analyst - operations reporting (Fresno, CA)

Harborlight Bridge Telecom Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
