Data Analyst - operations reporting (El Paso, TX)

Summit Ashton Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
