Data Analyst - operations reporting (El Paso, TX)

Silverline Linden Civic Services supports public agencies in El Paso with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
