Data Analyst - operations reporting (El Paso, TX)

Foxglove Timber Insurance Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on underwriting files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
