Data Analyst - operations reporting (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Granite Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
