Data Analyst - operations reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Orchard Farms is an agricultural business based around Des Moines, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on grower contracts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
