Data Analyst - operations reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Nest Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in client orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
