Data Analyst - operations reporting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Timber Property Management Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in rent collection and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor invoices. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
