Data Analyst - operations reporting (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood River Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on enrolment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
