Data Analyst - operations reporting (Denver, CO)

Nova West Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
