Data Analyst - operations reporting (Dallas, TX)

Summit Bridge Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
