Data Analyst - operations reporting (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Orchard Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We reward reliability. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
